Nisha is the founder and creative designer at Nisha Parekh Fashion Design. The British born Vancouver-based mum decided to put her fears aside and pursue her lifelong passion for textile and design on maternity leave. She could not find unique, easy to wear garments for her daughter that represented her rich South Asian heritage and appealed to her modern aesthetic. She had no idea where it would lead but instinctively knew she had to take the leap and use her design talent to create her first collection.
